Privacy Policy
KerfWave: Cut Phase is built to run entirely on the device it's installed on. There is no server behind the ribbon, no account to sign into, and no copy of your mill run boards anywhere but where you placed them. This policy explains, plainly, what that means.
Information We Collect
We collect nothing. Placing a phase card, pinning a deliverable or species tag, running a gap review, or opening a split-compare view never asks for your name, your email, your location, or any account credential — because none of it is transmitted anywhere.
How We Use Information
Since nothing is gathered, nothing is analyzed, profiled, aggregated, or sold. There is no usage analytics running quietly behind the ribbon, and no advertising engine studying how you move a stage from one gate to the next.
Data Storage
Every mill run board, phase card, deliverable tag, readiness note, and split-compare snapshot is stored locally on your own device. Nothing syncs to a cloud service, and nothing leaves the machine the app is running on.
Third-Party Services
No third-party analytics kits, advertising networks, or tracking scripts are embedded anywhere in the ribbon, the gap review, the readiness checks, or any other screen of the app.
Data Security
Because your boards never travel off your device, there's no remote database of mill run data to be exposed, breached, or mishandled. Your local operating system's own protections cover the rest.
Children's Privacy
KerfWave: Cut Phase is a professional operations tool built for shift leads and mill operators, not directed at children. Regardless of who opens it, the app collects no data from anyone of any age, keeping it inherently aligned with COPPA's protections.
Your Control
There are no accounts and no remote copies of your data, so you hold full control at all times. Clearing a board, deleting a mill run, or uninstalling the app removes the information from your device completely and permanently.
Changes to This Policy
If the ribbon gains new features, this policy may be updated to describe them. Any revision will be reflected on this page with a new effective date — our commitment to collecting nothing will not change.
